Family Care Clinic
Familial Cancer at Cabrini (FCC) is a service provided at Cabrini Hospital to assess a person’s genetic risk of developing cancer. The service is designed to make an accurate assessment of your cancer risk by closely evaluating your family history. If it is felt your risk is above normal compared to the general population, recommendations will be made with regards to genetic testing, and subsequently prevention and early detection of cancer.
Dr Lynne McKay is an experience genetic counsellor who works with our oncologists to provide you with the most up-to-date information regarding genetic cancer risk.
